Kaleidoscope machine, mixed media, 220 x 200 x 110 cm

When the viewer is getting close, the machine starts up and the backlit plastic film is moving up and down with the help of a motor and a cycle chain. This results in a slow expanding motion and then a quicker contracting one. Standing close to the machine and looking down into the corner of the mirrors an illusion is created of watching a 3,5 metre big luminous hexagon.
